Accompanying the DAV National Service Foundation’s long-standing commitment to ill and injured veterans are established guidelines that have allowed for the Foundation to fulfill its mission while operating with a high standard of efficiency, accuracy, and integrity. The Foundation is administered in accordance with policies and procedures that comply with all laws and regulations.
Articles of Incorporation
DAV National Service Foundation complied with all provisions of the District of Columbia Non-Profit Corporation Act and accordingly, certified for incorporation in 1986.
Bylaws
The activities of the DAV National Service Foundation are managed by a Board of Directors and may be conducted in alignment with the business management structure of DAV, an affiliated organization.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Members of the Board of Directors, DAV-affiliated staff, and others acting on behalf of the DAV National Service Foundation are required to read, understand, and comply with the Conflict of Interest Policy.
Non-Discrimination Policy
All requests and applications for financial assistance are given equal consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, age, or other legally protected classification.
Improprieties Policy
DAV National Service Foundation encourages DAV personnel and all other individuals who may be involved with its activities to inform the organization about unlawful or improper behavior.
Privacy Policy
The DAV National Service Foundation takes the issue of privacy very seriously and has adopted detailed policies surrounding the treatment of Personal Information.
